INTRODUCTION

Thank you for taking the time to review my work. I am a senior brand and marketing designer with over 15 years of commercial experience  spanning consumer packaging, retail campaigns, digital and integrated campaigns across New Zealand and Australian markets.

My career has been built on translating complex briefs into compelling visual identities that perform commercially. Running White Creative as owner gave me the full spectrum of responsibility: client strategy, creative direction, production management, and mentoring emerging designers. What drives me is the intersection of craft and commerce – great work that actually moves product and builds brand equity.

My industry depth spans consumer packaged goods, for health and wellness, agricultural markets, animal health and construction sectors, retail trade, and e-commerce. I have led brand launches, rebrands for nationally distributed brands as well as website UX, digital campaigns, print production  for retail environments.

I bring the creative instincts of a designer, the strategic thinking of an art director, and the commercial focus of someone who has owned client relationships and managed business outcomes. I work comfortably across cross-functional teams, partner-level client engagement, and hands-on production – from initial concept through to press-ready files.

Led the design direction of the PlaceMakers Landscaping Catalogue across a fast-paced production cycle, developing a cohesive visual system spanning print and digital assets for one of New Zealand’s largest trade retail networks.
Established a unified design language, ensuring consistency across layout grids, typography systems, and product hierarchy to improve usability, clarity, and retail impact.
Collaborated closely with product and sales managers to align creative direction with commercial objectives, managing stakeholder expectations and translating requirements into a cohesive, production-ready output.

Built and operated a full-service creative studio, directing all aspects of brand development, design delivery, and client engagement for a diverse portfolio of NZ and Australian businesses.

Art directed packaging and identity projects for consumer brands including Balance Sports Nutrition (NZ & Australian rebrand), Harker Herbals, and natural toothpaste ranges  leading concept development, naming, print production, and illustration.

Led website strategy, UX design, and visual execution across veterinary health, e-commerce, wireless technology, and professional services sectors.

Collaborated closely with sales and marketing teams to define creative direction and ensure alignment with campaign objectives, providing clear design leadership and overseeing end-to-end campaign execution, including client input and feedback integration.

Directed junior designers and mentored three emerging creatives through hands-on design process coaching and workflow development.

Finalist for a government creative services tender.

Delivered rebranding exercises for Enzed Hose Doctors across NZ and Australian markets, including vehicle livery, retail environments, and service centre collateral.

Led full creative direction across seasonal livestock campaigns, developing integrated campaign assets spanning print, digital, and field marketing materials.
Worked closely with regulatory and quality assurance departments to ensure all creative output met compliance requirements while maintaining strong visual and brand impact.
Project managed creative through to production, coordinating workflows between national territory managers, marketing managers, and veterinary clients to ensure alignment and timely delivery.

Packaging identity for adults and children’s liquid supplement range, featuring a unified character-led label design system with colour-coded variants and illustrated storytelling. The design communicates wellness in an engaging, accessible way tailored to both adults – through clarity, trust, and functional benefits and children through approachable characters and narrative-driven visuals.

Complete brand development and digital launch of a health supplement e-commerce destination. Introduced new customer channel, through a designed UX and cohesive visual identity system.

Boehringer Ingelheim • Livestock

Managed the creative direction and end-to-end execution of nationwide seasonal campaigns for Boehringer Ingelheim, overseeing concept development, art direction, photoshoots, and multi-channel asset delivery.
Led the coordination of regulatory approval processes and ensured all campaign materials were delivered accurately and on schedule across national veterinary and livestock markets.

PlaceMakers Landscaping Catalogue –  a complex trade publication coordinated across multiple internal teams at Fletcher Building.

Chasing Reds Outdoor Apparel

Design and development of the Chasing Reds brand identity, creating a bold outdoor-inspired logo for digital and apparel applications.
The identity was extended across premium outdoor clothing and merchandise. Design direction included garment graphics, branding applications, and ecommerce presentation.

Auckland Transport HR Campaign

Led the delivery and production of digital campaign assets in collaboration with an Auckland agency for a large-scale Auckland Transport recruitment initiative targeting expats returning to New Zealand.

Hardys Healthy Living Stores
